Functional Art- Titanium vacuum cups from Japan

The design and manufacturing team from the Niigata prefecture in northwestern Japan desired to show that everyday objects can be a source of long term attachment because of their function and beauty. Lightweight titanium is formed into two walls then the air is removed. The result: keeps liquids hot or cold, but without condensation or temperature changes to the outer wall. The unique crystallization process creates engaging colors and patterns that seem to change before your eyes. Each of these one of a kind crafted mugs can last a lifetime (or two). We liked them for the innate beauty and their demonstration of function. In short, the most amazing objects we have ever seen. -- @AviaryCreative
