Blurring the lines between Organic and Electric: Bio-Tech

The idea that a specific human being is unique in several of their characteristics, i.e. fingerprints and heartbeats, is taking hold not just for identification in the medical world, but possibly as a password tool in apps and phones and the up and coming smart watches. Passwords are broken with algorithms; how well would biological qualities defy an algorithmic pattern compared to our standard numbers and letters?
