Innovation or Incineration?

New building example of innovation leading to unforeseen consequences; in this case, melting cars. Oops. Article contains several examples of the "perfect storm" designs whose characteristics led to some strange, and sometimes disastrous consequences. This definitely re-emphasizes the need for a multidisciplinary approach to innovation in all projects, but especially on the huge scale with which architects are working.
